With hours to go before MPFC's first kick-off in as many weeks, they pay a visit to their visiting neighbours at CSS which is a stone's throw from their home ground MJC.

Being absent from a long season break has caused many of the players to have been out of action and of cause causing them to lose their touch. The much noticeable fall in confidence in some of the MPFC's players in their most recent tarining has caused many of their fans to start biting their nails as they fear of heading off the new season, a loser.

However Capt Wee Yang intervened and brushed all comments aside as "absolute rubbish". He stated clearly that although most of his players were away due to national duties, they have not lost their touch and are in fact, much fitter than last season. He continued to say that whoever tries to play his team down physically or mentally, they must be prepared to face the consequences.

Before leaving the press conference, Captain Wee Yang hinted out that MPFC might be making history by debuting a female defender for trials in time to come. When further pressed upon the identity of the mystery female player, he declined to give further information.

He pressed on the point that his current players are all eager and totally focused to get off the new season on the right foot after a dissapointing mid-table finish last season despite the quality of players that they have at their disposal.
