MUNJENS CELEBRATE EID MUBARAK

As the fasting month of Ramadhan comes to a close, Munjens now welcome the month of Syawal, a month of celebration to the Muslims after completing their one month obedience of fasting.

Munjen team manager, Jac, took time off to spend some time planning for the upcoming open house in a week's time where players are able to mingle with selected fans who have been picked in a lucky draw during the club's Shop til u Drop event which was held at the club's fan shop during the month of Ramadhan.

"We want this to be an event not only for our Muslim fans, but also the non-Muslim. We emphasise on community bonding as much as we emphasise on the importance of inter-cultural living environment," said team striker, Haris.

Those who were not picked in the lucky draw may obtain a $5 entry ticket for the open house. All proceedings will be given to selected beneficiaries.

When Munjen's monthly magazine, MPM probed Haris about the club's next match, Haris was quick to reply.

"It's been some time since we last played and all the players are eager to start kicking the ball on that green thing out there and getting it at the back of the opposition's net! But for now, we shall let those taking their A-levels finish off their educational duties before we proceed futher. We wish them the best."
