BUDGET 2008

MPFC's Chief Financial Officer Fir yesterday released the club's financial spendings for the last season, showing an alarming loss in returns.

The club has plunged into a debt of 343,495.10 IDR to a privately owned company.

When probed, the CFO declined to reveal more about the company, citing it as 'commercially sensitive'.

As a result, the CFO added that the club has now no choice but to postpone its plan of getting a team bus for the club.

According to him, a plan has now been laid out and measures are being taken step by step to curb this financial problem.

All matches arranged must now be of a maximum SGD50 per game. Matches arranged has to go through the club's Financial Department for approval.

Match organiser has to personally book a field and arrange for a referee to make this possible.

The CFO forsees that the club will break even by this upcoming September, and reassures fans that the club shall then focus on rebuilding its stadium and training facilities, apart from the plan of getting a team bus.
